The Fort Common
Located in the heart of downtown Victoria, The Fort Common is a popular brick carriage courtyard that specializes in weddings, corporate retreats and meetings. The 3000 sq ft multi-purpose space can seat up to 200 guests and is equipped with state-of-the-art audio visual equipment. This summer, The Fort Common will swap its wedding planning for intimate concerts under the gentle glow of candlelight.
This Victorian-era mansion was built between 1887 and 1890 for the wealth coal baron Robert Dunsmuir. The castle’s architecture and scenic surroundings make it an attractive location for various events, including musical performances and cultural gatherings. Craigdarroch Castle features stunning Gothic Revival architecture, intricate woodwork, stained glass windows and period furnishings, all of which create a unique and picturesque atmosphere. The castle’s grandeur and historical significance make it a popular venue for special occasions.
