The long anticipated Carnaval del Sol is returning to Vancouver this week on Thursday! From August 12th – 29th 2021 you can participate in tons of cultural events celebrating the beautiful and diverse Latinx talent.
The opening event on August 12th is a celebration of Latinx Pride Day from 3PM – 10PM at Concord Pacific Place. The rest of the festival will have awesome events like stand up comedy, dance and culinary workshops.
On Friday August 13th, you can join a salsa class at the fitness plaza from 10AM – 11AM. If you can’t make it during the week, both Saturday August 14th and Sunday August 15h, at the same time, you can try a zumba class! On August 20th, you can check out Stand Up Comedy y Magia en Español at the Vancouver Playhouse and try out some of the incredible local food vendors (another highlight, of course).
The Carnaval del Sol festival is an awesome opportunity to support Latinx artists and musicians in Vancouver. The biggest Latin American festival in the Pacific Northwest, it’s full of diverse talent in food, music, arts and culture.
