The second in a series of exhibitions, the Vancouver Special showcase has been on since May and is wrapping up after this weekend on January 3rd 2022.
Disorientations and Echo features 32 well-established Vancouver-based artists and up-and-coming talent. Working with a variety of different mediums, this show is the perfect edition to your holiday plans. According to the VAG, the entire exhibition speaks to the thought-provoking themes of cultural resilience, the articulation of suppressed histories, the performance of identity and embodied knowledge.
This local-focused exhibition is a great initiative by the Vancouver Art Gallery to highlight the diverse techniques and abilities of these artists who make the city their playground in the creation of their art. Get immersed in Vancouver’s Art and Culture scene and support these local artists by checking it out.
You can purchase your tickets here to reserve your spot before the exhibit closes next week.
