Where To Find The Best Pancakes In Vancouver

This rainy weekend, what better way to celebrate the return to indoor dining than with a beautiful stack of pancakes? These fantastic Vancouver restaurants are the front-liners of the brunch scene and their pancakes are a delicious treat to start the morning.

1. Jam Cafe

This hyper-popular brunch spot seriously has the best pancakes in Vancouver. Jam Cafe, originally from Victoria, BC, is a local-favourite with their awesome Canadian-themed decor,  fantastic portion sizes and quality ingredients. Their three sweet flavours, Banana Walnut, Cinnamon Bun and Blueberry Hill, each taste and look drool-worthy. Don’t think you can tackle their huge triple stack? Ask for a single pancake with any of these insane flavours add-ons.

2. The Red Wagon Cafe

East Hasting’s favourite cafe, The Red Wagon, is home to your classic Buttermilk Pancakes and signature Pulled Pork pancakes. These savoury pancakes are tripled stacked with layers of pulled pork and *Jack Daniels* syrup drizzled on-top. For the full shebang, add a fried egg on-top and enjoy that delightful yolk spill over.

3. Yolk’s

This Vancouver brunch joint might be known for their eggs benny but their Double Berry Pancakes are really something special. The pancakes themselves are light and fluffy but the combo of vanilla whipped cream and blueberry compote is what takes the cake.
