After landing in the very heart of Vancouver, at 1 Alexander Street, Gastown, Art of Banksy Without Limits has been the talk of the town — and we can see why. The new exhibit featuring over 200 works of art is a homage to Banksy, the most famous yet mysterious street artist of our generation.
This paradox makes Banksy one of the most respectable artists. In a world where everyone chases reputation and fame, Banksy lets himself be erased in order for his art to shine. From the iconic Dismaland park to the Happy Choppers and Balloon Girl graffiti, his oeuvre sheds light on sociopolitical issues that impact our daily lives..
Banksy remains one of the only artists whose identity remains a mystery. And in 2025, that’s a hard feat. His mysterious aura merges with his art to create pieces that get your pulse and mind racing. Art of Banksy: Without Limits shows us more about Banksy’s persona through his artworks. Each is as revolting as the next, igniting feelings you’ve perhaps never tapped into. The exhibit is a new perspective on Banksy’s art, what it says about the artist, and what it ultimately says about us as humans.
A series of reproductions uses the artist’s stencil technique, including multimedia prints, graffiti, murals and sculptures. And making its Vancouver debut is a new holographic experience, specifically curated for the experience. Add to that an infinity room and a collection of original works, and you’ve plunged headfirst into the artist’s mind.
After touring around the globe, the exhibit is open in Vancouver for a limited time. Wanna know what’s in store? Check out these reviews from past attendees:
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic!! 2 levels with so much to see!! Unbelievably creative & so thrilled that Banksy came to Vancouver BC!! THANK YOU
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Loved it. Banksy has a great sense of humour and his satire is very spot on
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely brilliant; moving, powerful. I came away determined to stand back more and observe myself and my ideas of need vs want; to speak up more about insane human rights laws, especially those around immigrants. Thank you Banksy, for the reminders.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very well presented mix of graphic, video & mixed media art. Beautifully matched with explanatory placards. The chronological entrance to the exhibits was a perfect introduction to the following rooms.
