Christ Church is an architecturally significant and historic building known for its features and stunning beauty. Built in Gothic Revival style in 1894, with soaring spires and high vaulted ceilings, the large open space provides excellent acoustics which makes it one of the best concert halls in Vancouver. Located in the heart of downtown Vancouver, it’s easily accessible to locals and visitors alike. Praise the music while admiring the heavenly candlelit surrounds of Christ Church.
Designed by renowned architect J. Francis Brown, this space is truly special. The sanctuary is adorned with beautiful stained-glass windows that depict biblical scenes and are among the most striking features of the building. The church also has a one-of-a-kind modern asymmetrical pipe organ, which adds to the charm and atmosphere of the church, making it the perfect location for intimate Candlelight concerts.
