World’s Tallest Christmas Trees Will Be At Capilano’s Canyon Lights This Holiday Season

By Gabriel Nunes October 30, 2020

Super-sized Christmas trees and an enchanting outdoor light spectacle!

When it comes to Christmas trees, bigger doesn’t necessarily mean better, but it’s hard to deny how impressive the humongous Christmas trees are at Canyon Lights. Canyon Lights, running from December 1, 2020, to January 3, 2021, is a mesmerizing, annual holiday lights display at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, and it features the eight tallest Christmas trees in the world.

Each year, the popular BC rainforest and its enormous trees are transformed by an array of dazzling Christmas lights and decorations during Canyon Lights for your holiday enjoyment. The Capilano River and iconic suspension bridge will also be illuminated, creating many opportunities for ideal, picture-perfect moments and memories.

This magical spectacle will take place daily (except Christmas Day) between 2 pm and 9 pm. Tickets go on sale at the beginning of November and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund. Quantities will be more limited than previous years due to the COVID safety measures in place, and it is highly recommended to visit the park on weeknights prior to December 18 to avoid the crowds.
