It’s back! The annual Canyon Lights at the Capilano Suspension Bridge is the holiday event we’ve all been waiting for. Canyon Lights opens on Saturday, November 20th 2021 and is truly one of the most mesmerizing holiday lights display in Vancouver.
This year, the Capilano Suspension Bridge is stepping it up a notch with more magical illumination along the river floor! This way, when you look down from the bridge, you can admire the twinkling lights down below and really get an appreciation for how high up you are! This magical crossing of the canyon will feature a multi-colour changing lights display before you wander through the forest of eight of the tallest Christmas trees in the world! Can you believe it?
Each year, the popular BC rainforest and its enormous trees are transformed by an array of dazzling Christmas lights and decorations during Canyon Lights for your holiday enjoyment. Complete with a stunning light tunnel along a portion of the Cliffwalk, this holiday event is the best way to experience the beautiful of the North Shore.
Super-sized Christmas trees and an enchanting outdoor light spectacle – you won’t want to miss this before the holidays! We can just imagine how spectacular this will look once we get our first dusting of snow in the valley. Anyone else hoping for a White Christmas?
Tickets are on sale and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund. Quantities will be more limited than previous years due to the COVID safety measures in place, and it is highly recommended to visit the park on weeknights prior to December 18 to avoid the crowds.
