It’s an emotional and whimsical, candlelit adventure at this unique tribute to the famous Japanese composer Joe Hisaishi. Having collaborated with director Hayao Miyazaki on countless films, Hisaishi has had a profound influence on the film-scoring landscape and on Studio Ghibli. Listen to music from Howl’s Moving Castle, Spirited Away, and more at Kerrisdale Presbyterian Church, celebrating the power of storytelling through music.
