
Calm your mind and experience classical music in a new light with these sensational concerts in some of Vancouver’s most magical locations. The concert series known simply as “Candlelight” invites everyone to relive the greatest works of classical music, from Frank Sinatra to Michael Bublé to Taylor Swift, in an intimate atmosphere. And after having enormous success around the world—in cities like Paris, Barcelona, and even right here in Vancouver—the experience, while being temporarily put on pause for 2020, has made its way back to the city.

The concerts will feature dazzling, thematic musical performances all played by the most talented classical musicians. With countless flickering candles illuminating each unique space, the Vancouver Candlelight concerts will present a collection of classical music over the course of 65 mesmerizing minutes.
Note: For the safety of our audience, all of the candlelight will be provided through flameless candles.
This season will see an incredible showcase of music across genres and themes, from a Romantic Jazz Special ft. Frank Sinatra, Michael Bublé and more to classical renditions of your favorite Taylor Swift hits and a Tribute to Elton John. Some will be played at the iconic Kerrisdale Presbytarian Church and others at The Beaumont Studios. There’ll also be Classic Rock on Strings concert celebrating songs from Blondie, The Rolling Stones and more songs that have made a huge impact in the rock industry.
The Candlelight series takes place twice each evening with two back to back 60-65 minute performances. Doors open at least 45 minutes prior to each show.
And of course, Candlelight will always follow the government guidelines for safety measures, and the events will always operate at safe capacities set out by law. Additional safety measures are added to all concerts and will be sent to all who have purchased tickets.
