Christ Church Cathedral: An Architectural Gem
Christ Church Cathedral’s marvelous stained-glass windows and preserved colours have stood the test of time. However, the incredible building underwent over $20 million worth of restoration to improve accessibility, ensure building stability, and beautify the stunning space. And now, its stunning interior provides the setting for an array of Candlelight concerts.
Not only is the cathedral a sight to behold, but it also enjoys a central location. The nearest SkyTrain stations include Burrard Station (a 12-minute walk), Vancouver City Centre Station (a 16-minute walk), and Waterfront Station (a 19-minute walk). If you’re fortunate enough to be traveling by car, it’s only a 3-minute drive from Vancouver Centre Mall. Parking is available for cathedral-related events in the Park Place Parkade at 660 Hornby Street.
