While indoor dining remains closed and the weather is finally starting to feel like summer, now is the perfect time to support iconic Vancouver restaurants. 

 

1. Seasons in the Park

Perched atop the beautiful Queen Elizabeth Park, Seasons in the Park is a long-established restaurant with some of the best views of the city. Respecting local health guidelines, Seasons in the Park has expanded their open-air dining with a brand-new garden-side-patio where you can enjoy their newly introduced seasonal dishes and cocktails. Their heated and covered patio makes this restaurant the perfect place for a nice dinner, rain or shine.

2. The Sandbar

Another Vancouver classic, The Sandbar in Granville Island has one of the most iconic patios in the city. Their views of False Creek and the Burrard Bridge make it the ideal place to take in the city life after work. Complete with fresh seafood and live music, the Sandbar always has a great vibe that feels right in the middle of everything.

3. Cardero’s

Known as one of the best oceanside patios in the city, Cardero’s joins the list of the city’s well-established restaurants with a killer view. Located in Coal Harbour, their patio offers a prime spot to check out the marina and the North Shore mountains with one of their new lineup of summer cocktails.

4. Lift Bar and Grill

Loved by many for its unobstructed views of Stanley Park and the water, Lift Bar and Grill is perched right on the water in Coal Harbour. A downtown favourite, Lift’s patio offers fresh seafood and seasonal West Coast dishes to enjoy in the sunshine. Be sure to get there early because their patio does not take reservations!

5. Provence Marinaside 

This well-known French seafood restaurant has a beautiful patio, right off the False Creek Seawall, that’ll make for a classy lunch break for your bike ride this weekend. Perfectly situated in the up-scale Yaletown neighbourhood, Provence Marinaside is right off the main strip, so you can enjoy the views of the water away from the crowds.
