This holiday season, the Stanley Park Railway is re-opening their Bright Nights Christmas Train! From November 26th until January 2nd, you can hop on this beautiful ride through a winter wonderland in the park!
Closed last year due to the covid restrictions, Stanley Park Railway is officially re-opening their Bright Nights Christmas Train at the end of the month! Although Stanley Park is beautiful any time of year, this spectacular display of lights is a sight to behold.
A favourite holiday event for all ages, this beautiful display of lights that you can admire from the coziness of the train is a classic Vancouver Christmas event. It´s amazing looking at the millions of lights and listening to Christmas carols in the forest.
Bright Nights will also be hosting tons of delicious local food vendors that will be stocked up on all the best holiday treats. Favourites like the Reindeer Café and Roadstop will have churros, hot chocolate and other delicious goodies. You´ll also be able to grab a warm drink from Insomniac´s Coffee and some gooey Chimney Cakes from the Praguery food truck. And even better, the CobHouse will also be selling tasty organic, buttered popcorn that will support the fantastic Stanley Park Ecology Society!
The best part about this wonderful holiday event is that the Bright Nights is the largest fundraiser for the BC Professional Fire Fighters´ Burn Fund, that provides life saving support and resources for burn survivors and their families.
Fire fighters and volunteers will be participating in the Bright Nights event, raising money for the foundation with their 50/50 raffle that raised over $500,000 last year. Be sure to grab your tickets online to support this important cause and to participate in the holiday cheer.
