This fall, The Dome presents a series of captivating multisensory experiences, displaying space in a completely new way. Thanks to an incredible 10k resolution system, 4k cinema projectors and 20,000 watts of surround sound (“so powerful you’ll feel it in your bones”), the high-tech planetarium dome breathes a new intimacy into stars, galaxies and planets — almost as if you could touch them. Check out these events at The Dome:

The Dark Side of the Moon
Pink Floyd fans, assemble! The Dome hosts a “cosmic odyssey” this fall, “where sound, light and space collide.” The Dark Side of the Moon, this unique 360-degree experience, will guide you through the music of the iconic band — pairing the legendary 1973 album with a visual adventure through the cosmos. Tracks like “Time,” “Money,” and “Us and Them” come to life on the multisensory canvas, embarking viewers on an emotional journey like no other.
Created by Pink Floyd’s creative director Aubrey Powell, it’s an experience that will transport you into space, right here in Vancouver. Get tickets for the musical voyage through space and time!

Double Feature — Tom Hanks’ Passport to the Universe & Space Explorers: SPACE Walkers
Tom Hanks’ Passport to the Universe recounts the story of the cosmos, guided by the voice of none other than… Tom Hanks! Travel from Earth to the edge of the universe as we know it, venture through star clusters, blast off into the great ether past nebulae and black holes… It’s an unforgettable experience revealing our place in “a universe both unfathomably vast and intricately connected.”

SPACEWALKERS is the “first-ever 360° cinematic spacewalk.” Captured by actual astronauts with the help of custom space-rated VR cameras, the Emmy Award-winning film by Felix & Paul Studios takes you outside the International Space Station to float alongside real astronauts. It’s an experience that only 250 humans got to live.
In one single evening at The Dome, you’ll travel to space and back — an opportunity to learn more about the universe and your place in it. Book your spot for the joint feature here.
