Listening to classical music by candlelight at one of Vancouver’s most magical locations makes for a perfectly spooky fall evening.
This Halloween, gather up your courage and enter a beautiful venue turned eerie for a special concert featuring thrilling soundtracks that will bring a chill to your spine! By the dim glimmer of candlelight, our eyes are tricked—and treated.
Shadows flicker on the walls, accompanying the violins’ ominous yet melodic heralding of All Hallows’ Eve; this thrilling combination of sound and sight heightens all of our senses, preparing us for whatever may be lurking around the corner. Simply known as Candlelight, these concerts invite everyone to an event of thrilling soundtracks that will bring a chill to your spine in an intimate atmosphere.
This coming October, Candlelight is bringing a few special shows to Kerrisdale Presbyterian Church at 2733 W 41st Ave. With countless flickering candles illuminating the unique space, the Candlelight concerts make for the perfect fall evening featuring 60 mesmerizing minutes of utterly festive tunes.
Featuring the works of Mozart, Piazzola and other classical favourites, Candlelight’s special halloween performance will get you in the fall spirit while immersed in the space’s glowing atmosphere. You don’t need to know all things classical music to enjoy the evening, simply sit back and savour the stunning pieces you’ll hear!
Note: For the safety of our audience, all of the candlelight will be provided through flameless candles.
The Candlelight Series takes place twice each night with two 60-minute performances. Doors will open 30 minutes prior to each show.
Whether you’re looking for a night out to celebrate spooky season or just a unique classical concert, Candlelight is an experience unlike any other, and you won’t want to miss out.
