Looks like it’s snowtime!
It’s finally that time of the year again… time for Vancouver’s first snowfall of the season! It just wouldn’t feel like a true winter without a blanket of snowflakes covering the streets and trees for at least a couple days— which is apparently going to happen very soon, according to Environment Canada’s latest weather forecast.
The forecast shows that Vancouver has a decent chance of seeing snow flurries this weekend. Environment Canada predicts that the snow will begin at night on Saturday, January 23, with a possibility of continuing throughout Sunday and Monday.

The possible snow and freezing temperatures will come right after a stretch of sunny weather that we’ve been getting in Vancouver. Seems like our fairly warm and mild winter may be getting a bit colder — at least temporarily.
