The Most Incredible Immersive Light Show Just Opened In Whistler

The captivating Valle Lumina multi-media night walk in Whistler is back for another winter season as of Friday November 26th 2021.


Follow a 1 km pathway through the most beautiful, enchanted forest you’ll ever see. This stunning night walk is one of 12 around the world, each of which offers a completely unique immersive experience into the landscape. Valle Lumina, here in Whistler, takes you on a journey through the mountains lit up by ‘star dust’, where the legends of the forest come to life.

Following the distorted radio transmissions of two hikers who discovered the ‘hidden valley’ long ago, you too can discover this magical oasis. At the Valle Lumina light show, you’ll have a natural encounter far different than ever before. It truly feels like you’ve entered into a storybook on this luminous trail with glowing mushrooms and fallen stars caught in the branches of the trees. Expect to be completely immersed in the legends of the magical valley in their completely integrated multimedia experience.

This magical light show experience up at Whistler is truly unique and sure to make your stay up at Whistler filled with wonder and imagination. It’s truly incredible how immersive this night walk is and there’s something extra special about experiencing it in a snow-covered, winter wonderland.



The entire experience is 45 – 60 minutes in length and is a fantastic idea for a memorable night out in Whistler. Be sure to reserve your tickets in advance.

Please note that although the winter trail is mostly level, it’s important to wear warm, water-proof footwear to navigate the snow and ice. Furthermore, the entire experience takes place outdoors after the sun has set, so be sure to come bundled up in your warmest attire.
